So, was this update put out by uconnect or gramin? If it is a uconnect update then I don't see why they have left us 730N guys with that horrible blue interface. I almost wish I hadn't come across this thread. Didn't know what I was missing.

During the process there will be a couple of pop ups, select yes. It will take a short while for the update to complete (about 10 minutes or so), there will be a pop up (or at least I saw it on mine) that "PND" did not update, select the "OK" and then let the disc finish running. The radio will reboot after the update is finished, remove the disc when it does so that you don't start the process over again.
******IMPORTANT NOTE -- I suggest to have the engine running during this update process so that there isn't any possible power interruptions.

On a different note, these updates are for the radio SW only and they don't update Navigation maps, Gracenote or Uconnect. Those updates are done only by the manufacturer of those items which is not the radio manufacturer.
My dealer still does not seem to have this disc. You state you made a disk; is the image available somewhere? Thanks!

just a little note and clarification here:
1) The name Uconnect is an umbrella name. What I mean is that there are 3 suppliers for the Uconnect system due to their being several different radio manufacturers. People who call "Uconnect" are not talking to any of the suppliers of the hands free system. They're talking to a Chrysler employee and in some cases a "call center" reading a script. Most of these people will tell you some kind of misleading information, for the most part they don't really know or understand the system because most probably don't have a vehicle with Uconnect in it to use daily and really understand it.

2) In the case of this update, it is put out by the radio MFG (Mitsubishi) not a Uconnect supplier MFG. The disc also has an update section for the Garmin SW operating system which doesn't have anything to do with the actual navigation maps.

3) The 730N is made by Harman and they will need to decide when they'll come out with a different screen color.

Me too! I never had the black screen option on mine, only blue.
