My build date is 5/10 and I didn't get anything, I also checked my vin on their website and it doesn't show a recall. There has to be something other than a build date to determine if your on the list or not.

EDIT........

Right after I made this post I decided to punch my vin into Dodge's recall box on the owner site and my truck is now on the recall list. I have checked several times before, the last time being two weeks ago and it has never showed up until now. I guess i'll have to call the dealer to be put on the parts waiting list

Keep an eye on the rear diff pinion seal (where driveshaft connects to it). If you start to see a leak, even a small one, have it towed to the nearest dealer immediately! The pinion seal leaking is a pre-cursor to failure. The leak is caused when the nut begins to back off.

This is not ALWAYS the case, as sometimes the seals just fail, but more often than not, its because than pinion nut is loose. When my pinion seal went on my 09, I disconnected the driveshaft u-joint at the diff yoke and wiggled the yoke and she had a good 1/4" of in-out play. I immediately had it towed to the dealer. The next day I bought my '11, but service tech said it was a good thing I didnt drive it, as I likely would not have made the 20 mile trek.

Like I said in another thread:

From what I've heard a Chevy silverado pinion nut fixes it. They are a pinch nut so it can't back off.

Do your own recall. Fix your own issue and be proactive. Don't wait on chrysler. If you believe it will happen anytime soon I'll sell you oceanfront property in Arizona.
