Default "New" Old Ram Just Purchased

I just picked up a used ram. I used to have an 05 now I have a 97. I have a few questions and I'm hoping someone can help.

97 V8 Magnum Sport with a "Sport Coach" interior

First and foremost, the squeaking noise is KILLING me!! I was told it's the ball joints and they cannot be greased. Is this true?

Secondly, When I accelerate, the a/c remains on but the fan slows down completely. Is there any way to correct this issue?

Third, the gas gauge doesn't sit still either until i'm riding at a constant speed. Is there a way to fix that without dropping the tank?

I'm not really new to working on vehicles, but if there's someone that can help me figure these things out faster, that would be great.

Thanks! Hopefully I'm in the right section.

Some ujoints are greaseable, the good ones at least. You can check them by putting the truck in neutral on a level surface and shaking the drive shaft. If it moves, the u joints are bad. They're only about $20 anyway, so best to replace them.

I have a vac. leak in my truck so the blower will change from the "face" vents to the defroster when it goes above like 3k rpm. But that doesn't really sound like your problem.

Hope I helped a little, lol. I'm new to this stuff too.

Thanks Tox. I will check that out before the weekend is out.

And I was wondering if it was a vac leak, it's just weird!

Yeah, no problem. You can take some carb cleaner and spray it around the vac lines and if the idle changes, you found the leak. Keep a fire extinguisher around too.
