It's Jerry's Mufflers jerrysmuffler.com. I work up in Dallas so wanted to find a shop close to here. He's in Lewisville right on Bus. 121. But I would say well worth the drive. He makes appointments. Lifetime warranty on all the labor. Had mine in and out in 2 hours.

The exhaust guy said it was a Federal Law. I can see the dealers voiding warranties since it is technically an illegal act which is probably buried in the fine print of the warranty as a way to void it.

The y pipe has nothing to do with emissions. As long as tbe cats are not messed with you shouldnt have a problem.

I called multiple dealerships about changing the Y-Pipe and they said anything after the cats is just pipe and will not void your warranty. As many others have confirmed, the y-pipe has no function other than to merge the two exhaust manifold pipes into one.

anything behind the Catalytic converters is just noise volume & better exhaust flow
if you modify the exhaust to have Electric cut outs, they will nail you on the VISUAL check
they will pass you otherwise

Hey! I live in Maryland. I was going to modify my exhaust shortly. We have a place called "Trick Trucks". What kind of restrictions are there? I also want to put on a manga flow 14". Will I have problems?

No, he's correct - I've lived here for six years (due to military) and it's unreal - tint checkers in the state trooper cars - lifted trucks are not really a target but lower ones are almost no where to be found unless it's a car show. Better be an air system you can adjust when getting pulled over.

I've paid three tint tickets now - not pulling it off and if they required proof (they don't so far) I'd pull and replace it.
