Question Purchased a K&N air intake

Just purchased a K&N 63 series for my 2011 Hemi. Is there anything I should be aware of installing it/after installing it? Will my truck's computer pick up the difference in air flow and be ok?

The main thing to be aware of is not damaging the air temp sensor that's located in the intake tube. And also making sure you install it correctly in your new intake.

The computer will keep your truck running exactly as it should with the new intake. It is however a good idea to disconnect the negative on your battery as you do the mod to reset the computer. This will let it "re-learn" the truck with the new intake which will help it run a little better off the bat.

I see some people say that the outlet is 2.5" and some other people say its 2.25". Which is it?

We always recommend the 3" inlet dual 2.5" outlet if you have factory duals.

Thanks
