If my dealership did that and then told me that the water would not hurt anything I would have demanded that they have my truck towed to the next closest dealership to do the repairs. I would have lost all faith in them at that point and would not want them near my truck. Maybe call another dealership and tell them the situation and see if they could do the repair work instead.

It wasn't raining when I brought the truck in and I think the bcm was fried before the rain. Going to go to the dealer now and see how wet everything still is.

I have lost all faith in them so far but I'll go down there and see what they intend to do to fix this. As of right now it's nothing.

Do you have leather or cloth? I know my 2011 cloth is odor and stain resistant so maybe its not a huge deal but they should at least do something to dry it out quickly. Just seems like they don't care about customer service at all.

It's leather with perforated seats. So it's reasonable to assume water got in the holes.

When you contact RAM Customer Service tell them you want the local Chrysler Zone Rep notified. One of the Zone Rep's responsibilities is ensuring customer satisfaction. Have them also give you the Rep's name and contact information.

I wonder if that General Manager has any idea of how stupid that remark sounds, especially if he is testifing in court in front of a jury. Submerged for days and a detail will make it OK-----is he nuts????????

Thanks for the tip. I'll call them back and see if I can get that info.

I bet asking for the Chrysler reps info will light some fires under the service departments arses. It's hard to smell that new car smell over mold and mildew.... I hope they do the right thing for you.

The gm tells me there is no moisture and there is no issue. How can he say there are no issues when the vehicle has no power to verify if all the components even work. They say the vehicle would have to be submerged for there to be any electrical issue.
