Never heard of that one but may just try it.
I also heard, but never tried them, was a pair of your wife's/GF's old nylons wrapped around a sponge or wash mit.

You'll be good by then, at least up this way as most will be died off by then.

Before your trip however, I would put a good coat of wax on the front of your truck to at least help aid in the removal of the ones you do get.

Here in Canada we have Dumb-ass Bug season from Mid June to Mid July, the truck gets covered with them. If I am going for a nice drive before I go I spray the truck with this.

Griot's Garage Bug Barricade

You can find it at Autoanything.

Never heard of that product before Asur. I assume you yourself order it from them, if so, what is shipping like?

I use E-Shine.ca for most of my products as they are CDN and it helps with shipping etc. I will have to see if they have a similar product?

I have heard, although I have never tried it, was to use Pam cooking spray.
I assume it would do the same thing, maybe, but I am curious if it would harm/stain the paint?

DO NOT USE PAM ON YOUR TRUCK. YOU WILL GREASE THE CRAP OUT OF YOUR TRUCK AND WHEN YOU WASH IT YOU WILL REMOVE ALL THE WAX OR PROTECTION YOU HAD ON IT.

Pledge works for cleaning bugs and making them easier to remove later. This is a common trick on small plane wing and cowl surfaces.

A bunch of us use it on our motorcycles too. You could also try Plexus.
For dried bugs, you can use hydrogen peroxide, pump spray is the best.

Glad to hear they carry it, will have to get some on my next order.

Thanks

Never thought of using Plexus, I use it on my sleds and it works great but not sure how much better it would be than just a coat of wax?

I have found it hard to take bugs off and will give a few of these ideas a try.

Another Canadian site to look for products is www.oldetownautospa.ca/.

It is run by a member on here who goes by primo_spaghetti.

i have never done any detailing to a vehicle before, so i had lots of questions on products and how to use them and he helped me out answering those questions and suggesting the best products to do what i was looking for. Prices were cheaper than eshine and shipping was fast.

He is still adding things to his site daily so if he doesn't have what your looking for just ask and he will more than likely be able to get it.

Default Use Clay Bar

[QUOTE=rjmlakota;1126870]So, I just came back from a fly-in fishing trip in northern Ontario. It was a 12 hour truck drive to where we had to jump on the plane. My 2013 Ram performed flawlessly. I averaged 17.2 mpg mainly at speeds of 50-70 mph.

Now for my question,....

Does anyone have at recommendations on the best way to remove bugs that are plastered on my front grill and bumper!!!![/QUOTE

I would wash the truck as best as you can, dont use any harsh materials or chemicals as you will regret it later. Once you have it washed good use a Meguires Clay Bar. It works wonders. Get some spray wax so you can keep the clay bar lubricated and if Claybar wont take it off nothing will.
