Default 2001 ram 1500 no oil pressure

I just did a pretty major rebuild on my 360 took it out today to do the initial break in as directed bythe ring manufacturer. After the truck was warmed up and during thedrive i came to a stop sign check gauges light came on and no oil pressure. Immediately pulled over and checked level. If i bring it up off idle i have normal pressure range. It seems fine until it gets warm. Once it is warmed up it looses the pressure at idle. According to gauge. I have not put a mechanical gauge on it yet. I am just lookng for some ideas to start checking.
