Default Ultra Lining over spray removed...

Just some pictures of some over spray they did on my truck when I took it in to get it's bed liner install.

Anyways good liner.. feels and looks great..

but they over spray some of it on my running boards... I didnt notice it til a couple of days later and too lazy to drive it all the way back to the dealership. So I took some Mothers Clay Bar and a very sharp razor and went to work at it... here some pictures..

I'm sure your were furious. Good job removing it though. You should email the pics to the dealer and see if they'll comp you in some way.

X2.

And I am curious, did it only get on the running boards and not the paint?? Not sure how they would have managed to do that? (missed the truck)

if they got your running boards, they prob got the truck paint also but wiped it off, If it was me, I would do a complete clay of the truck and run 3 coats of wax on it, do the running boards also with the wax. There is probably not a whole lot protecting your paint now, the stuff they use to clean up after a spray will remove all or any waxes that were there in the locations they wiped down. JMO

After I found the over spray on the running boards I did a complete walk around the truck to see if there is anymore.... I also took it to a car wash and they did a complete clay and wash/wax and sealant...

Soo far I only notice the running boards had the over spray on it. After I did my clean up it looks a whole lot better... granted in the beginning you wouldn't notice it but stuff like this bother the hell out of me...

Looks like who ever did it didnt notice the masking was above the running boards... IDK whatever its taken care of..
