I believe the mirrors I got are listed on eBay as k2 ram towing mirrors. Just like originals but don't have blinker in them

I got the same problem here, after installed the aftermarket mirror to my 2013 model, the engine check light went on, and few of the features in my truck stopped working like remote start.

How do you hook up the stock sensor with this aftermarket mirror, I believe we bought it from same place (ebay)....

My truck is still at the shop and I am very appreciate you answer, thanks.

Seen mirrors on a Ram just the other day and it looked like the outer 1/3rd of the mirror was convex?

I have always added extensions to my mirrors while pulling my wide snowmobile trailer but I don't want to have to do the same with these chrome mirrors.

Anyone else seen/know what these mirrors were? Were they after market or was this maybe a stock mirror for one of Ram's past trailer/hauling P/U's like the Outdoorsman?

Just a note to all this may help. I had 2011 Ram just got the 13 Ram. I had the manual flip tow mirrors on the 11. The 13 has the power folds and dealer would not change out for me either. I towed 32 foot travel trailer today with the power folds and to my surprise they work great!!! I could see just fine. Not quite as well as the manual flips by not seeing quite as far back but far back enough to change lanes and back trailer just fine. It will be okay and doable if power flips do not become available.

Not sure about your local laws but tow mirrors are required here, pretty good fine if your caught towing without them.

I have my sticker in truck that list "Standard Tow Mirrors" and legal in all 50 States. I can see just fine on both sides and rear of camper. Dealer said manual flip tow mirrors are designed and required in some states for towing 5th Wheel Campers because of height. I tow a travel trailer or as many refer to them as "pull behinds". So I suppose all is well. I could in fact see higher up with old flip ups when parking camper under carport.

That is good to know, but I am curious if they will be wide enough for my 102" wide snowmobile trailer?

I have also heard it was a requirement, but even if it wasn't, I would still feel much more comfortable knowing I can change lanes safely without actually cutting someone off or worse!

Out of curiosity, any idea what the fine is?

Same thing I found out towing 34 Foot travel trailer. Cannot see a mile back any more but can see plenty far enough back to be safe probably half mile back or more. The power folds are standard "Tow" mirrors and safe. But not so sure if you could see "High Enough" For Roof on some 5th Wheels. The Power folds are just way too cool!!! No manual crap!

There is no Fine for Towing truck mirrors as the power folds are referred to on the Sticker of the truck.
