I used mono-filament 60# fishing line. Use gloves and wrap the end of the line from the spool around one hand. In the other use the spool as a hand hold. Use a sawing/pulling motion and not just pulling. After every one removed wrap a little more of the used line around your glove. This will constantly keep new line ready to use and will cut down the frequency of the line breaking.
I used a combination of Turtle Wax Sticker Remover and the 3M Stripe removal wheel. I used the wheel on the leftover black tape. When it got down to little bits I switched to the spray.
Don't do this in direct sunlight. The wheel gets pretty hot without it so be careful on your paint. Keep the wheel moving and don't let it sit in one spot too long. It says it is paint safe BUT friction doesn't read guarantees on a piece of paper.
Good luck and post pics!
