Thanks everyone. I could tell by the numbers that I was pretty much ok, but I have not towed anything in over 15 years (last time I towed was when I owned a 97 ford f150.) I wanted to make sure from y'all.

The band gear is not much weight at all, I would say no more then 1,750 lbs (risers, complete drum kit, bass rig, guitar rig, 88 key rig, merchandise rig, drum tech rig, bass and guitar tech rig and A/V control rig.)

Sounds like a lot, but its really not. All this could fit in the back of a 15 passenger van (with rear seat taken out), grant it that some things are taken out of the road cases and it becomes a band version of tetris getting everything to fit just right.

The bed of the truck has the tonneau cover and that is for luggage and stuff that we can get to at moments notice.

Is there anything I need to make towing this (or something similar) better? brake controller?

It comes with the WD hitch so you're good to go there. I'm assuming it has electric brakes so if you're truck doesn't have a brake controller you will definitely need one.

You need a brake controller for the trailer brakes, a Weight distributing hitch would be a good thing, you might want to put a Titan gas tank in as that factory tank will become small when you're towing as the Hemi will pull the load, but it will burn the gas.
