Before I started using amsoil filters, WIX were the only ones i put on my truck. They are good filters, I have cut a few apart and they definitely catch the shit.

I use WIX on my current truck. Have not had any issues. I have also dissected a few and they definitely do their job.

Wix is as good as it gets, they also make the filters for NAPA's top line. I have used them for over 30 years.

Why did you switch to amsoil filters? What makes them better?

WIX filters are what i use, they also make some Carquest & NAPA filters
it reads WIX on the side of the package

AMSOIL also sells WIX, Donaldson, & MANN-FILTER oil filters
all are good products

they do NOT sell Honeywell automotive products, like FRAM

I honestly can not tell you one is better than the other WIX has never let me down they are damn good filters. The amsoil has a 25000 mile filtration guarantee that matches the oil life. More or less for the extra 2 bucks it gives me warm fuzzies inside

Thanks for the info. Getting ready to switch to Amsoil in my truck. Never ran synthetic before and was going with the amsoil filters too. Hard to find info on filters.
