Default Vara ram or afe stage 2

Just bought a new 2013 cc 4x4 sport hemi. Looking to wake this thing up and make it more responsive. I like to light up the tires from a dig every now or then haha.. I have read a lot of reviews and I think I have narrowed it down to the afe stage 2 or the vara ram intake... I am open to all options tho. I just want the most performance I can get. What do you guys think? Also I'm a newb just became a member. This is my first dodge. I have owned fords all my life. Looking forward to it

I would suggest doing your exhaust first and then going and adding your CAI after. The exhaust will at least make you truck a little more fuel efficient. The CAI will show you little change, at least nothing you can feel.

Neither exhaust or CAI will make ground breaking differences, so you can pick which ever you want to do first. I would recommend the AFE over the vararam, just based on the design of our intake manifold, it responds better to higher intake velocities as opposed to a large reservoir.

I'm researching the options on these also right now. I thought the Vararam is a true ram-air style intake, which in fact WOULD give you greatly increased intake velocities?? (As vehicle speed increases, obviously-) No?
