I get nervous when I hear all this talk about all kinds of recalls for various different things and my phone doesn't ring. Either I just got the perfect truck or I am missing some important info I never know which.

I would think, that if you take the truck to a dealership for some type of routine maintenance, any missed recalls should come up as soon as the VIN is entered into the computer.

Yeah I was in there a month or so ago and nothing, going back next week for another oil change.

I was just saying I keep hearing about all the recalls and yet I am not having being told I have any. Which I am happy about don't get me wrong, just don't want to have an issue and then find out there was a recall. Every recall I have ever had was never an issue just the manufacturer covering their tails.

My wife's explorer is up for the fuel recall thing, no letter or phone call yet but we know she needs it.

You can check if your truck has a recall at the link below. See the bottom left side of the page under "Recall Search" to enter your VIN.

I'm going in for an Oil change on tuesday and when they called me back confirm, the service manager asked If I had time for and update to the computer onboard. he said it was just an update, not a recall. I checked my vin online and no recall for my truck.
