Ordered a polished catch can from Bully's Performance.

Everything arrived on time and in good condition. My only hiccup was that I was missing a small bolt that goes on the bottom of the can.

I found what I needed at Ace Hardware and also went ahead and picked up some brass fittings vs the plastic ones. Not that the plastic ones wouldn't work, I just wanted brass :)

The bolt I used was a 3/8 x 1/2.

Install took only minutes and was a breeze.

Man..... all that money for the catch cans........ and clamps/connections like that or no clamps at all provided? You would think a better looking connection would be provided considering the cost.

I have the same clamps/look but bought my CC used.

Pics make me realize I need to clean up that zip tie holding one of the Hypertech Interceptor cables.

I really wanted that blue anodized but I kinda spent money left and right last week and had to tighten the belt on SOME purchases lol.

Thanks Asur, the 4.7 looks like it was developed for a catch can in that location, nice setup! I also have to "spread some rep around" before I can rep you again lol.

Today was maintenance day, changed oil in the RAM and wife's car, installed the CCan, washed both vehicles, new air filter for the wife. I'll probably check the CCan in 2 weeks and hopefully will only have to worry about it at oil change time.

Southside, right near Mansfield.

I went with a catch can on my '09 HEMI
I ran the LONG hose to the fitting closest to the grille & it gave the shorter hose a better angle to go to the fitting it needs to go to

That would be awesome to have you in Ft. Worth, GT. Hopefully this meet-n-greet will come to fruition.

Emptied this out yesterday and had a full two tablespoons of oil in there. Looks like it's working!

I'm confused on the whole catch can thing , I've had mine installed for 4000 very hard miles ,( I spend a lot of time on the rev limiter in the mud) but still have not seen a drop of oil in the can , although I've noticed my throttle body stay's clean now , as before it would be covered in oil residue , The only thing I see that could be the reason, is by all of your pics , Yours are all mounted down low beside the motor , mine is above the motor on the firewall, I'm now wondering if the residue is just draining back down the hose into the motor before it even gets to the can ?
regardless, the piece of mind my throttle body isn't getting gummed up was worth the money

Do you have a picture of how it is installed? It sounds like you hooked it up in the middle of the line from the oil breather to the intake box, vs the PCV line that runs from the back of the motor to right below the throttle body?

not very good pics, but, I followed the directions sent with the can specific for a 5.7 hemi, installed between the hard plastic line that goes between the back of the block to the intake tract off the airbox
