Amen to that. My company has a data center in Richardson and it's always a nightmare to go up there.

Man..... all that money for the catch cans........ and clamps/connections like that or no clamps at all provided? You would think a better looking connection would be provided considering the cost.

I have the same clamps/look but bought my CC used.

Put it this way - there's always form vs function vs cost.

Make it look nicer? Nickle fittings +$20 Braided color matched hoses? +$50

I personally feel that a lot of these are a decent balance.

You dont need clamps there is no pressure in the lines. Also I think it looks a little cleaner minus the clamps.

It's a truck, not a show car. Those connections are solid and all you need for functionality. If you want to have the "show car" look, you can, as stated above, spend many more dollars to achieve it. Just doesn't seem necessary for most of us. That being said, if that is your preference, by all means, go for it. And post some pics!

I know its a truck, thats why my used CC install looks the way it does in the pic below and with the same clamps but hey for 30$ I am happy. Just saying, after dropping 100-150$ for a CC they still supply no clamps or cheap hose clamps?.

Anyways I guess clamps are not needed but as little as i lift my hood I would rather feel safe with the clamps.

Installed after returning from a long dusty logging road camping trip.

Same here, The clamps are just extra in case, There stainless so at least the wont rust, also since my catch can is not on a bracket that is attached to the engine, the Vapor lines move more when the engine works, this could induce some movement at the connections which when hot may move, may not, but I have seen on some of my race cars a hose split at the connection and come off mid race, with a clamp, less chance of a hose split, as NatureCannon said, its just extra safety. That's just me.

I went with a catch can on my '09 HEMI
I ran the LONG hose to the fitting closest to the grille & it gave the shorter hose a better angle to go to the fitting it needs to go to
