Default Rattle in factory side step pads

This rattle noise has gotten worse over the last few weeks and I think it's he black step pads on the oval tubes. Would this be a warranty fix? If its found to be something else, warranty? My '13 Outdoorsman crew has 19k miles. Thanks

I noticed the drivers side pad a bit loose on mine but not enough to rattle. It has a bit of a front to back movement. How much movement do you have on yours?

Mine aren't factory but I have the same issue. Bolts are all tight and I still get a rattling vibrating noise... The solution was found by my dad and makes no sense but works. Take a can of WD40 and spray the mounts.

I have no clue why it took it away but the rattle is gone. EVery few months I gotta do it again but everything's still tight
