Default Swapping out the Badyears'

Just had my first needed rear tire balance at only 5000 miles with the SRA's, and they are still hopping slightly, so tomorrow I'm swapping in Michelin LTX A/T2 ten ply's. Did a fair amount of research and these seem really descent with a moderate lug pattern. 63000 mile warranty. Just in time for a summer of TT towing. Just didn't have a warm fuzzy feeling about the factory tires. I managed to get $600 on trade for my tires, ended up agreeing on $890 installed and balanced out the door taxes in.

Default Anyone running 10 PLY TIRES? If so what brand?

Anyone running 10 ply's? If so, how do you like the ride? Just installed 275 65R 20 Michelin LTX- A/2's, I am wondering if these tires will be too stiff in the winter? I am completely happy with the ride so far. They are much more stable than the Goodyear SRA junk tires. I have them aired to 45 psi and was told I can air them up 80 psi if needed. I ran a couple of back roads to test them along with a couple hard pack gravel roads and I have to say they are awesome! No more darting on anything less than pavement anymore, the truck feels totally different, amazing what new tires will do to transform a vehicle. Going on a long 2 week trip with the TT soon and I was pretty skeptical about the SRA tires in the heat, empty truck they were okay, but wasn't looking forward to pulling my TT with these. Now I can't wait. Please comment if you run 10 ply's, I would be interested in your feed-back.

I would not reccomend 80 psi on the cast aluminum wheels that come factory on the Ram's. You could very well face a wheel failure at that pressure.

I know what your saying, I don't think I would ever air them that high for any reason, I was getting by with stock shitty goodyears with my last truck with towing my TT, so with the new tires automatically being a stiffer tire, 45psii will work perfectly fine towing now. Iam very happy with the new tires. The quality difference is amazing.
