I just want to be clear .. or were you making a general statement above?

The reason I measure from mid hub to flare bottom is so guys can see the pure suspension input, and then just add 50% of their chosen tire diameter (radius) to appreciate height increases.
General statement and your method of measuring lift in my opinion is the most accurate due to the fact that it takes different tire sizes out of the equation.

I would be happy with 1" of rake... just a personal preference thing... If I happen to be drinking and look at my truck and even get a sense that it's nose high, I'll probably rob a liquor store or something...

What I can tell you is what I saw, and what the comments of the shop boss were in regards to the 5" rear coil - 'I sat in it and on yours (mine) you can definitely tell it is level .. your hood just appears to look that way, BUT on this other truck I could definitely sense the rake. The hood looks like its sloping way down from inside, and there is most definitely a big rake when looking at in from the side.'

Hope that helps a tiny bit..
But seriously, thanks for this info... it's good to know... it's too bad you hadn't snapped off some pictures!!! *hint hint* hahaha

I'll have to measure my truck again now that it's settled, but a quick and dirty measurement the day the tires went on put my front at 45.5" from what I recall. Pure 6" coil-over & 37's

I'll get some new/better pics this week and post them. I love my BDS lift on my '06 1500.

3.92 gears.. luckily...
Its a tad slower.. not to bad..

Would like to change to 4.56 though,
but I don't know what exact parts I have to change?

this is what I know so far..

Unfortunately, this is going to be a very difficult swap for you. In 2011, Dodge changed the rear diff, and nobody makes an aftermarket gear that fits.
You will need to have your current rear carrier machined to accept the aftermarket 4.56 gear. This is the easy part.

For the front, your ring gear is actually welded to the carrier. The only way for you to complete the front swap is to replace your front axle with 1 from an 09-11 1500 4wd. You will also need a new front driveshaft as well. From there, you can buy any aftermarket 4.56 gear which will bolt up without modification.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but Dodge made this a very difficult mod for the newer trucks.

Leon,

May I suggest looking into the Diablo Sport Trinity T1000 tuner. Take it from another guy running the 37's / HEMI / 3.92. The 3.92's are the best stock config but man this tuner rocks!

I just installed the 93 octane tune yesterday and took a very short rip around this afternoon, and I gotta say it's pretty sweet. I was hitting 160 kmh on the back hwys without any work! The shifts were so smooth my wife sitting next to me had no idea what speed I was hitting!

Turning onto the main hwy after, I was hitting 7th @ 100 kmh and 8th @ 120. Folks behind you will just vanish into dust! I honestly thought the guy coming up on me (already on the hwy) as I turned onto the hwy had turned off, until I spotted the speck way back.

Me like!

Var

PS: If you don't have a local supplier (I say that because you're an ocean away) then FastnUgly @ BP (Bully's Performance) is your man! Give him a PM, and he'll take care of you.
