Default Different perspective on my truck..who gets it

So every chance I get...which has only been two or three times since I've had my truck (it'll be a year in July)...I try to ride in a separate vehicle behind my truck.

Like the other day I drove my mom's car home from the bar so my buddy drove my truck and I followed him. Rolled the windows down, wouldn't let my mom talk...and just listened and watched. Made me re-fall in love with my truck again. Even though it isn't lifted, I still said to myself "damn it looks beefy and i love my stance...and she sounds mean!"

Also, when I first got my exhaust. I sat on the front porch, handed my buddy my keys and told him to go rip up and down the street just so I could listen. I could hear him go all the way to the grocery store and back.

There is just somethin about seeing/hearing your truck from a different perspective. Am I the only one??

Definitely know what you mean. I haven't had much of a chance to do that with mine yet... only once when I let a friend drive it back to my place after I went home with another friend. I was outside when he came down the street (just a suburb culdesac) but all I could say was "damn that sounds good!"

I was just talking to a friend the other day saying that I should get out and let her take the truck around the block and just drive past me under normal cruising throttle and at around 2000-2500 rpm just so I can hear what it sounds like and see it go by. Opening up the windows in tunnels or looking at the reflection in windows as I go by just isn't good enough.

You are most certainly not the only one. I love driving my truck but on the rare occasions that I see it driving down the road and hear it from a spectator's point of view...they are much admired. Gives a new and refreshing perspective and feeling about how damn awesome our trucks our. Driving an awesome truck is one thing. Seeing and hearing an awesome truck, and then realizing that it's your awesome truck is a totally different feeling. Both are awesome.

MY MAN!

me too

I don't think people understand how good they sound on these trucks. Everyone is worried about drone and blah blah. I can cruise down the highway, windows down, 70mph, with my mud tires..and have a normal conversation.
