Default Tick on start up

Tonight when I started up the truck to go home from a long day at work I heard a breif tick.
Anyone had this issue?
It's a 5.7 weather got up to 33 degrees celcius today and it sat for 13hrs.

sounds normal. just keep an ear out for it and if it gets worse or something then let us know.

I wouldn't worry about it esp if it went away.

The Famous Hemi Tick is normal, google it & see
at first it was irritating, then i changed to a quality oil filter & synthetic motor oil & it quieted it down quite a bit
It still sounds noisy on colder days, warmer days it is much quieter
Chrysler says it won't hurt anything

I had this on my 05 hemi and now on my 2012. Never been an issue. From what I've seen it's relatively normal for the Hemi's.

On occasion I have a bad tick/knock. Turn of truck and restart and it goes away

Not the hemi tick, its an occasional semi loud WTF knock!!
