Default Air ride question

I have noticed while being outside the truck, engine and power off, that I will hear the air ride pump kick on occasionally. I am doing nothing that would change the load in the truck bed.
Wondering if anyone else has heard their air ride system do this?
Maybe a small leak in the line(s)?
Normal deal?

Thanks.

Mine has done this occasionally but it is bleeding off, not raising. I assume from the increase in air pressure due to the heat since the ambient temperature is hot.

From page 407 of the Owner's Manual: "After the engine is turned off, it may be noticed that the air suspension system operates briefly, this is normal. The system is correcting the position of the vehicle to ensure a proper appearance."

Mine does this also. Seems is it just leveling out. Been keeping an eye on it because I only have about 2 inches of clearance in and out of the garage and I don't want to rip off the sat radio antenna.

Normal for any factory air suspension system to adjust after it rests.

(This is why I get to re-do (= money in my pocket) many alignments on Land Rovers, because not all shops realize the suspension will adjust itself on the rack for a certain amount of time after the engine is off, unless it's put into tight-tolerance mode.)

I dropped my truck into entry/exit mode last night. I was on a slight grade, I think it didn't like that much and immediately reverted back to normal ride height.

Not sure what that was about, I'll ask the dealer when I go in. Their canned response is "yeah, that's supposed to do that." That's the response for everything, either that or "we can't".

I turned off my truck Thursday morning and it hasn't ran since. Today being Sunday I was outside my truck and the air ride kicked in for no reason. I wonder how long after the truck has been off that they can link the above quote together with the truck auto correcting.

I wonder if the ambient temperature is affecting the "proper appearance"? Mines in my garage and I don't remember mine making adjustments the day after I parked it or later. Usually it's just the first 10-15 minutes after turning it off.

Thanks for all the replies. I should have searched the manual first. But nice to know it seems to be a normal function.
