Default Wheel offset question.

I have searched and searched the site with no definite answer so I have no choice but to ask. I see all the posts saying you can run 35 12.5 20 on 9 inches wheels If you use 1/4 inch spacers. My question is what offset is equal to 1/4 inch spacers. My math is a wheel with plus 1 is the same as the factory plus 19 with spacers. If I'm wrong please let me know. Thanks

If I'm reading your question correctly you are asking what wheel offset would be the same as stock w/ 1/4" spacers? The answer would be +13 mm, roughly. 1/4" = 6 mm.

Default Wheel

You understand me perfectly. So if I have a set of positive 1 offset I will be able to run 35 12.5 20 with just the leveling

As far as them fitting I can't answer that, might be a good idea to ask in the lifted or leveled section. I can tell you that, if using the same width wheel as stock, the +1 mm wheels will "stick out" a hair under 3/4" more. Just under 1/2" more than stock w/spacers would be another way of looking at it.

As RAM EM said, 1/4" spacers are approximately 6mm think which put the stock 20x9's at a +13 offset. With the wheels you want being +1 offset you will have no problems at all (provided you have a leveling kit).

I'm running 20x9 -12 offset wheels with 35x12.5" Toyo MT's. There's a link in my signature below with lots of pictures and information on how far they stick out etc. You might find it worth taking a look.

Default Very nice

Your truck looks good but man they look close. Have you put any weight in it or towed a heavy trailer? Your pictures are the most detailed I have seen

Thanks! They definitely are close on the front.... But I have fixed the rubbing up there. The back isn't a problem at all.

I have hauled my dads racecar on a flat deck trailer (approx 4500 pounds) but I have the airlift 1000 bags in the back. So it doesn't sag at all. Here's a thread on that: http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=142443

Haha, thanks. I try to be as detailed as I can to help people out.

Good luck getting everything installed. Be sure to post some pictures when you're done.
