Default faster, i have about $2500 i want a cam and????

i have $2500 i want a cam and some head work. What else would i need? And cani do all this with that money?

If you drop the truck off, plan on ~$1500 for that, but then you'll have to plan on dyno tuning, and possible injectors/exhaust/valve train changes.

IMHO, you may be better off with cam, headers, custom dyno tune, and u/d pulleys... About the same hp gain and it will be a lot more balanced...

If your wanting to do cam and heads unless your doing you own work 2500 isn't enough. Most heads alone are 2000 plus a core charge. I would like to say cam installs haven't been successful with these trucks for some reason. Do some good research on what your looking for to keep from being disappointed and find a good tuner. Be prepared for the small stuff but good luck on your project. Let us know what package you get im thinking of heads but that's after I get my cam stuff finished.

What mods do you have done so far? Heads aren't worth it, and VVT cams are hit or miss on power unless you buy a $800 billet cam from HHP

Is this hhp cam work well with just bolt ons in a tune is it better than 6.4 cam

Wow, this can expensive. the trial and error thing. So what kind of gains can i see with throttle body, coldair, and a tuner kit? And i know i'm going to get a hundred ans. but which tuner?

Bigger than a 6.4. It added 100rwhp to John's challenger(black one on their website)
