Default So the wife comes home with this!

after a visit to her mothers house in Niagara Falls, the wife shows up home with this...

what the F@$& is that? i have no idea, but it is definitly through the paint t the primer...she is going away for a month on sunday, and i have no time to properly fix the "scratch" the way richy has shown us, so i thought i try and "hide" it a bit.

first up...Makita rotary with Scholl Concepts Orange waffle pad.

Next up...rotary again with SF 4500 and Scholl Concepts Black Waffle Pad.

and then, topped with OG until i can get the "scratch" fixed....

I have no idea what happened here, but it looks intentional...

there is nothing more chicken shit than messing with a persons car..

thanks for looking!

That's one hellofa nice job you did minimizing the look of the damage. Really made it so you have to be looking right at it to notice. Well done.
Okay... now... what the heck could make such a scratch in the first place. How low is your wife's car? Could a lifted truck with some sort of hitch have backed into her dragging over the hood.. then pulled away.
Or maybe some sort of specialized bike rack?
Good mystery to solve...

thanks man ..but don't let the pic fool you. while it does look better, it is right to the primer...no amount of polishing will fix it.

You know it is a freaking mystery...it is a highlander, so the lifted truck would have to be kind of high for a hitch to do it...but im open for guesses! i shoulda made a poll!!!

I doubt that was a hitch, it looks intentional and has the markings of one of those small garden tools with the claws. Is anyone out for revenge ? A poll is a good idea. Again very sorry to see this and yes there has been alot of this lately, truly a shame.

Obviously some mental mutant with no moral compass to speak of had nothing "better" to do than cause damage to something nice that they are unwilling to put forth the effort to earn for themselves.

I keep thinking of installing one of these to my vehicles:

That is terrible.. Some people are just pathetic and have nothing better to do.. So sad.

About a month after my bud first got his black challenger, someone took a knife to it under the door and just scratched away at it and an area about 10" by 10" is just scatched and 'keyed' to a mess.

Is she really going away for a month on her own volition, or are you sending her away somewhere as punishment?? LOL......

Okay the big scratch is no joking matter, but the way you said she was going away for a month made me laugh....sorry.

Is there a dent just under the big multi scratched area?

It looks almost as if an arm from a gate or something slammed into it, and the few trailing scratches was from a vehicle backing up?

It looks to me like a solid hit, and then a drag.

Somebody playing Dukes of Hazard's and slide across the hood with a sharp belt buckle??

Nasty whatever it is, but you did a decent enough job for now.

I was thinking something like this??

I thought it was your truck, very sorry for your loss. My wife came home with a scratch on the cap and I made her sleep on the coach. Nothing more important then a mans paint. But this definitely looks like someone wanted to punish her. I could have been a house window and the moron opening it just kept going
