ok well i need help with this one. i have talked to my mech and a few other ppl and no one can tell me what might do this.
i have a lifed dodge ram 1500 6 inch lift and i have gone thu 4 rack and pins in a lil over a year. it would seem that on the right side my rack exstends 1 inch more than the other side i have checked the allinment and it is good so is the toe. the frame is good the low control arm is good becasue that would show up on the allinment.
is there more than one set of mounting holes to install it? sometimes there might be holes to install the part differently if the frame is used on more than one vehicle with different applications like 2wd and 4wd or truck and van body differences. or like wchnu said it may be the wrong part.
I'm just leveled and when I got the truck my rack was leaking. Replaced it and a year later started leaking again so the trucks on its third and as I said, no lift. Rams are notorious for racks. But deaf check on the part. The 2wds fit on the 4wd I'm pretty sure but don't work properly. Where'd u get the rack from?
