Default 'Engine' light just came on

Not sure if it's the check engine light or another but its in the lower left hand corner of the dash idiot light area. I know Im low on gas, 20 miles to empty and the dealers are all closed. Any thoughts on running it with that engine light on?
It came on and I drove maybe another mile home, temp., volt, etc gauges all seemed ok.
Im going to get gas now and see.
Thanks in advance, and if this is the wrong place, sorry
Eman

check your manual to see if it is actually the check engine lite. if my fluids were all ok, i would drive it as long as my warranty was intact, but thats me and shouldn't be taken as "good" advice.

I also noticed the "Eco" light was not going on anymore. Most likely a gas cap or I think Ive read an evaporative cooling thingy

Bad EGR valve. Had it changed for free under the extended warranty...
Cool, but I think the service manager flat out lied to me, check out my new thread {if you care ;-) }

there is a way to fix the lying service manager, but again, it wouldn't be "good" advice.

I hear ya. I'm not sure I want to call them and call him out on it. Nothing to gain, unless he's full of improper info, then it could hurt a more believing person next time

How can I see the new thread as our check engine light just came on and now I am told that I need a new Cam Sensor. I would like to see the thread that you had just don't know where to look. Thanks
