Default Climate control system blowing hot air

Good day,
I have a recent issue with my 2010 Ram and hope someone here can advise me.
In the last several days now my system has pumped out hot air regardless where the control is set. I can not even get the air conditioner to work. Of course it has to happen with the weather in the mid 90's!
The last time I used the A/C was a year ago and it worked fine. Have had cool air blowing throughout the warm days of Spring.
Symptoms are:
It seems to be blowing heat rather than just hot air.
The check engine light is not on.
Radiator is full and good to -40.
Controls on the dash seem fine.

My initial thoughts were the A/C needed recharging but while speaking to the service place they thought it might be a valve that is stuck with the heat open. The A/C recharge is on hold.

Would there be a code registered but not showing a check engine light?
Would a simple Coolant System flush clear this issue or is it a more serious problem?
Of course I am just out of warranty due to mileage.
I have run out of ideas on this one and would appreciate some advise.

Is the compressor kicking in? I had servo motor go bad on a Ford that controls a damper door in the heater box from switching to the correct location within the box.

Default trouble shooting suggestion

If truly blowing hot air like you have the heat on then this is most certainly a problem with one of the blend doors (likely the servo went but could only be the pcm that you change the temperature with or the door got stuck). If is not hot air like when the heat is on the blend door could still be the issue but I would also confirm that your A/C is engaging. You will hear a click from the engine when this electromagnetic clutch engages and another one when it disengages. The servos that control the blend door(s) one door if not auto climate and two doors if it is are located behind the center stack that houses your radio and temperature controls. The mode and recirculation doors are located behind the glove boxes.
