i got a 2012 dodge ram 1500 crew cab i recently been looking at componets to put in the doors and some 3 1/2 in the dash i dont have the alpine set up i currently have 2 kicker 8 under the rear seat im asking if yall think that is a good decision on doing that or whats you think be a good set up

I would say if your going with some components there is no need to get 3.5.

If you go with a component set (preferably a 6.5" with separate tweeter) there is no need for 3.5's in the dash. Id put the tweeters in that location if you prefer or not. But the 6.5's and tweets will handle all frequencies the 3.5's would.

Do a 3 way component set. And put the 3.5 mid in the dash....
