Default Wheel help

I'm a complete moron when it comes to this category.
Just saw 20" XD addicts 20x9 5x5.5 (5x139.7) -12mm offset
on sale in my area with tires that most deff will not fit my truck. Says tires are nitto trail grapplers size 295-60-20 (35x12.50x20) that don't look like they have too much tread anyway.

My question is what will I need to make these work or do i have to be lifted? It says tires are for lifted trucks I'm running 2012 stock outdoorsman with 265 70R 17E.
Would 20s work? And would all I need is new wheels and tires? I currently have the factory wheel and tire warranty so may hold off all together until that warranty is finished but figured I'd ask since they are dangling on Craigslist in front of me

Yes, those wheels will fit on your truck just fine. They are the same size as stock 20" rims with the exception of the -12 offset. That will make the wheel stick out a tad over an inch more than stock. You could actually run those tires if you installed a leveling kit on your truck. Or you could go with a shorter tire and you wouldn't need the level.

Is what I have on there now 20s? My tires say 17 and inside the door it does. Or am I wrong about that. I can't use what's on my truck now with these wheels correct?

Your stock wheels are 17" on an Outdoorsman. But many other model Rams come with 20" wheels stock.

A 295/60/20 is not a 35x12.5... It's actually 33.9x11.6 just to clear that up.

20x9 -12's will fit no problem but in order to clear those tires you will need a leveling kit. Your other option is to put smaller tires on those wheels. As starquestbd22 said those wheels will be sticking out farther. I'm running 20x9 -12 offset wheels and 35x12.5 Toyo MT's and I stick out just over 2" past my fender. There's a link to my wheel/tire thread in my signature below with lots of pictures and information if you're interested.

Thanks for clearing that up! That will be of great use. I may just order the 17" xd addicts since it appears they do make them.
