I actually use a grease from a company called Lewmar. They make sailboat winches. It is a high-performance, high pressure grease that will NOT run when exposed to high heat or water. It seems to work very well.

if your in canada or most likely be able to find it in states also. there is a prodcut called "FLUID FILM" its made with sheeps wool and instantly got rid of squeak . spray on and action door back and forth wipe excess drips of hinge rollers.it lasts a very very long time before needing to be re applied, i wash my truck once a week at least and its been over 3 months so far. can use this on anything to stop a squeak. amp powersteps, tailgates!!!!

Mine have creaked since new. I believe it is the springs on the hinges.

The best of its kind by far and does exactly what it claims.

Fluid Film. Awesome Stuff! Hard to find. Was given a free can from a Race team at a local car show. It has so many applications. Great for a protective coating to prevent rust.

My hinges don't squeak but my door seals squeak like hell now. It's definitely the gaskets, I can push the door in and out while standing outside and duplicate the sound. I haven't yet checked to see if I could adjust the latch to stop it...hopefully it will.
