But $6k for just a bit better look and a few (realistically) unneeded options???
This kind of depends on your personality. Are you more concerned with functional features or aesthetic ones? Personally I would never go higher in trim than an Outdoorsman or Big Horn/Lone Star because the higher trim trucks don't offer anything of value to me, for example I prefer cloth seats because I don't like being burned in the summer and frozen in the winter when I sit down. Honestly I'd have gone with an Express if I could have found one with an 8 speed.

I feel the same way I love my tradesman my Avenger I traded had every option and the only 2 I wish I had are the stereo and the radio button in the steering wheel. Both I can live with out.

P.s. OP good luck with your truck it sounds like a tough choice

But honestly even at the $6000 difference I would go for the Laramie. Especially if that's the one you're leaning towards. If you compromise on your original thoughts/wants and go for the Big Horn you'll probably end up regretting it down the road. JMO.

Well I got them to agree to throw in a Spray in bedliner on the Laramie, that's about it. It seems they are giving the best deal they can.

You are right about the regret.
Back in 2006, when the BMW 335i's were just coming out, I "settled" and got the sedan because I didn't want to wait 2 more months for the coupes to come out.
But then 4 months into ownership of the sedan, I started seeing the coupes on the road, and damn it if they weren't sexy as hell and I regretted not getting the coupe. Luckily I had a friend willing to take over my lease payments of the 335i sedan, and I promptly went and ordered me the coupe.

As it stands I'm heavily leaning towards the Laramie

I gotta tell you I was VERY impressed with the Katzkin's.
They were really high quality black leather with gray stitching on them.
Felt really comfortable and again the leather seemed top notch.

Nice! That seems to be the consensus from the people who have seen the Katzkin's in person. That's one of the mods I really want to do to my Big Horn, but convincing my wife to drop $1400 on leather seats will not be easy. Especially, considering my truck is only a couple months old and the premium cloth is actually really nice.

Default Go Red

I had a heckuva time choosing between Deep Cherry Red and Copperhead. I ultimately went with the Copperhead myself. Since I still love that Deep Cherry Red, I'd go that way. I think it's a great compliment to any chrome trim such as handles, steps or wheels.

Well, I found a True Blue Laramie CC 4x4 about 370 miles from my house.
14 miles on the odometer and I'll fly in Saturday to pick it up and make the 6 hour drive home with it.
