was a fram fan 25 years ago but their filters went to crap. cut one open and you'll see yourself. I like the Purolator.

Now that is a fair statement. If I recall correctly they were the first to recognize the need and develop an extended drain filter.

I think back in the 70's-80's fram made a good filter.
