Default Interior light problems

Hi All, My daughter just purchased a 2003 RAM SLT 4X4 4.7 240,000kms. The dome, map, and cargo light do not come on at all either by opening doors or by the light switch. When I turn the light switch dial to the top position a chime sounds. I checked the fuses with a test light and they are OK.
Other things I have noticed are that the power mirrors and cigarette lighter on dash do not work(fuses OK).
The condenser fan doesn't operate, there is power at plug, a new one is ordered.
There is a remote starter installed but is not working properly,(truck starts then stalls).
Looks like ECM has been changed at one time.

are the bulbs still good? if so test the sockets to see if they are getting power. if not check the harness to see if it's still plugged in. if the ecm was changed and there is other electrical issues that may be the reason the previous owner sold it. you said the condenser fan isn't working. does the a/c work? if the compressor don't kick in it won't send a signal to the condenser fan to run. as far as the command start i have no idea but i'm sure there are others on here who could help you with ideas to diagnose that.

Thanks for your response!
I checked dome and one map light, bulbs were OK but no power to test light.
Which harness are you referring to?
AC works perfect when truck is moving.

the harness that goes to the the map lights and runs along the pillar down to the main harness. as far as the a/c goes check the sensor for the fan and than the fan motor itself.

Thanks mb power wagon for your response!
I had a chance to have a look at the wiring in the pillar today. The wires all appeared OK. I had the plug apart and tested all pins with a test light, with negative results!
I also took out the light switch and removed the plug, a chiming sound was heard. As I checked all plug sockets with a test light there was no power at any of the connections, except for when I touched one socket with the test light the chime sound stopped.
On a different note I pulled apart the plug to the AC condenser fan and checked it with a test light. I had power at the plug when the AC was turned on. I have ordered a new condenser fan motor.
