Default What Kind of Boots Does Your RAM Have For Winter

Just wondering what kind of winter tires you guys are running and how you felt they performed on snow, ice and slush as well as wear.

My previous ram sported Toyo Open Country AT's. They were the best tire I have used. Others I have tried include; Goodyears, Yokohama Geolanders and Bridgestone Revos.

This hunting season I will likely upgrade these stock garbage tires for the Toyos again unless there is a new kid on the block that is better.

revos handles the best but they have a very soft compound and will wear prematurely. Firestone destination were surprisingly good. but so far my two Favorited are the dura tracks and the terra grapplers.

Nokian Haakkapellitta 5 studded winter tires. Big horsepower and winter roads need some extra love when it comes to rubber and the H5s have the best of dry and icy/snow in my experience.

I head through the mountain passes several times each winter between Calgary and Vancouver, and regular winter rubber does alright but 'all seasons' even with the snowflake just don't cut it performance-wise

I'm ready for winter. Screw this 100 degree stuff. Give me snow anytime. Plus I really wanna take the new truck out and play. I had a lowered truck last winter, not near as fun
