Default Can I use a 2012 Ram R/t video head unit with my 2012 Ram express stock unit?

My bland stereo head unit in my 2012 Ram Express is making me think about possibly switching it with the video screen head unit in the r/t's etc. Is this possible, and if so, what do I need to do and what's the cost factor involved with switching them?

I installed a high speed RBZ non navigation touch screen unit on my 2012, it came out of a wrecked Town and Country mini van, it was plug and play and works great. I paid under $400.00 for it. Installation takes less than 15 minutes.

I also added the rear camera to it.

Mick, so I'll just need a new bezel or is just plug and play? Also, how much would it cost to do this?

What year was the town and country and do you have any pictures?

The unit came out of a 2011 mini van. I first put it in my 2011 1500 then pulled it and put it in my 2012 2500, no problem.

If you get one from a 13 you'll have the awesome black screen and graphics.

Why would they its the same radio that was in the 12 they just have the new graphics. My wife's 13 Grand Caravan has the same but updated version that her 08 Grand Caravan and my 11 Avenger had. (The Avenger was the slow speed so it won't work for the applications that require high speed radios)

I'm reading some of the information on these head units and some say "high speed" and some say "low speed." What's the difference between the two?

Low speed and high speed is referring to the can bus (controller area network) that is used to control devices within a vehicle.
