Default Mopar hard tonneau cover

Thinking about picking up the Mopar hard foldable tonneau cover.any good or bad opinions on this?i like the key lock at both ends.my dealer tells me they can ad it to the 3 yr 36000 mile warranty by adding it to my vin.kind of steep price.thanks for any input.david

I have this exact cover, bought it while negotiating for my 2013 Ram. The function of it is great since you can open it in the front and rear, I also like the fact that you can fold it up if you need to put something large in the back.
The bad, well the seal has frozen to my tailgate 3 times already. Also at times it bounces up and down with every little bump, making a very annoying sound.
I guess I am saying I do like the cover but its got its downside to. I have heard of other covers that are far cheaper that you might want to look into. Also don't forget you will also need the rails to go with this Mopar hard folding cover.

Default Tonneau

Admittedly, I knew zero about tonneau covers and passed on that option when I purchased my RAM. I did some Internet explorations only to find a plethora of products available it really teased the brain. Had to focus on just a few looking at the hard cover models. Finally settled on the Extang
Solid Fold. Fits snugly, looks great, easy to fold out of the way. It does seep a little water in the crevices during heavy rain (Oregun, you know) but not a lot to be bothersome to box or contents.
Indeed, they are a nice option to consider.
