Me too. It all comes down to a bunch of country boys and bragging rights I used to have F150s in the past, and around here pulling is a big past time... my truck can beat yours ect. My 06 F150 kept getting beat by this 03 ram chipped out, so when it came time to upgrade my truck I wanted the badest v8 available. I noticed how Dodge typically dominated the local events and I love the 4th gen look so it was pretty natural to make the jump from Ford to Dodge... and last summer I got my revenge on the '03 Ram that beat me previously and I only had 1200 miles on my bone stock '12 Ram then. So I definatly made the right choice of truck when I bought my Ram

Nice, Pulling is pretty big around me too. I dont think I could hook the 1500 to the sled (around here that class is mainly suped up old trucks) when I had my 96 2500 w/the Cummins I would have hooked that if it were in better shape.

Might have to give it a go sometime then, If I can get it past my wife LoL I think it'd be pretty badass having a Ram with the "Hemi sport" package hooked to the sled. I've personally never seen anything like that hooked.

Get yourself some blocks for pulling. Something to go between your axle and bump stop to keep you from squating so much. Might be the difference between a full pull and not.

BTW.....Congrats on the run!!

I hear you I'm trying to get my dad to take his Raptor out and compete against me. That 6.2L is the only gas engine with more power stock then us.

Thanks Battrattle, I hear there is another pull close to me this week, I'm going to try to make it, last time I pulled the full pull of 300' but fell short of first and the $ by 6". Like what you said about the blocks. I'm going to keep my hitch dropped this time instead of raised as I'll only squat so far anyway. I think that plus the tuner I added should be enough to get 1st, as long as my tires hook up

Nice vid man, way to show what dodge's can do from the past to present. If I had a few beers and someone to run with me that I knew maybe I could have grown some beer balls and hook to a sled in Kempton pa. We go there every year for the truck and tractor pulls. I just need another redneck like me to persuade me that's all lol. Maybe I could break my truck in then hahaha
