Default Single to Dual exhaust conversion

I feel as though this questions has been asked a million times but I am having a lot of trouble finding a definite answer so here goes! I have a 2012 SLT that I am hoping to convert from single pipe to dual pipe. I will likely be using all OEM parts (dual exhaust bumper and OEM dual exhaust system). Is it as easy as buying these two items and installing or is there any more that needs to be done (possible computer problems, or buying hangars, etc)

Thanks in advance!
Jordan

There was a post on here the other day. Someone did the exact same thing. All bolt on for factory exhaust and I belive he had to buy one rubber hanger. As for computer problems none. Check craigs list for factroy take off exhaust .

Easy swap, you will need to order a hanger bracket for the left pipe and 2 rubber hangers. i ordered an oe bumper and painted it body color all the mounting brackets changed over no problems. Then i installed a Solo Performance cat back system, sounds amazing

The stock system isn't a true dual, if you are worried about it being too loud you can do as I did and put on a true dual setup and go from the cats replacing the existing y pipe to an x pipe and I used 2- 22" (I think, might be 24") magnaflows (if you go this route don't forget to replace the pinched pipe that goes over your trans pan). It looks stock it's barely louder than stock, I'm getting better throttle response and better mileage. Probably cost the same as the stock setup.

I'd love to see some pictures of your setup. I was thinking of doing something very similar.

Looks great! I'm not looking for anything loud, just a more aggressive aftermarket tone and better airflow. My goal is slightly louder than stock. I'm concerned about getting to loud, I don't want it to become a nuisance on our long camping trips. I spoke with a fellow at the local exhaust shop about the cost of a very similar set up with Magnaflow 22's and deleting the resonators.

Was his quote fairly reasonable? I got mine through barter, the guy still has a little more work to do. I think I might owe him another half of a case of vodka too. Can't remember what I gave him.

Haha, that's awesome I work for youngs market (liquor and wine distributor) but I was with southern wine & spirits at the time, and traded a case of patron and some other stuff for mine, he got the better end of the deal but since I wasn't anything out of pocket I wasn't too worried.
