Default Bilstien 5100 setting

I've done some searching and it looks like I'll be fine but when I install the Bilstien 5100's on my 2012 Ram Wednesday, should I go with the highest setting or the next one down?

The best thing to do is measure your fender heights now before you pull it apart and then determine how much rake you have. From there you'll have a better idea of what to set them at. Keep in mind even if your math comes out with 0.5"-0.75" of rake it will still look level. If you actually have your measurements even it will look nose high.

I always recommend 2.1 vs max. But many run theirs max here and love it
As Brandon suggested, measure your truck first as not all rams are created equally

Avg rake is 2.75" but there are a few I have seen at 3.25" and a few at 1.5"

Set your bilsteins at 2.1 as it will settle to 1.95"-2" giving you a level look.
Anything higher and you will be nose high.

If you want 1" rake.....set it at 1.4"

2.1 sounds like it is what I want. I'd rather have it a little low in the front compared to high in the front. Thanks for the feedback.

Got then installed today and I'm glad I went with the 2.1 setting. The fender above the middle of the front tire was at about 36 1/2 inches from the ground, now it's at 38 3/4 inches from the ground and sitting very close to level. For my truck the 2.1 got me 2 1/4 inches of lift. The ride with the Bilsteins is a lot better then the factory struts also. I'll post up some pics as soon as my cell phone stops playing games with me.
