Default Powertrain Inspection,,, What's inspected?

Just dropped my 09 off for the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty Inspection required every 5 years.

No one can tell me what they 'inspect',,,

The truck is doing great, runs like a top, but still kind of curious what they inspect.

I assume they look for codes, CEL's, ~kick the tires~, test drive, check fluids,,,,

What else?

I believe they check for codes... They also look at all the fluids in the drive train. If they are deemed "dirty" they will need to be changed to pass inspection. So trans fluid and diff fluids will need to be inspected..

Just had my "inspection" done.
I have so many problems and trips into the service areas I watch my truck all the time. They even take me on road test.
The "inspection" was done in the Quick Lube lane. The same "techs" that change the oil did the inspection. Truck on the hoist, two guys that change oil, looked with flashlights for about 4 minutes then lowered the truck and looked under the hood the same way. Did not check the fluids. Did not pull codes. They pulled the truck out to the pick-up line.
Done Deal! In and out in less than 15 minutes.
Good to go for five more years!

I dropped mine off/picked it up. No problems/good to go.

The only 'clue' I had as to what was done was my ticket said '27 point Inspection',,,

Oh well, whatever 'it' was, it probably wasn't much!

My truck probably looked like it was owned by an old man,,, 100% OEM except for a catch-can and OEM sized Michelin MS/2's,,,

Come to think of it, at 50ish, I AM kind of an old man!!! LOL!
