So while I sit here and wait for my lift, wheels and tires to get here, I decided to debadge the truck and give it a nice wash and wax! First time using Mothers wax and couldn't be happier with the product.

The badges have been on for about 4 years and I was worried there might be an outline but luckily there wasn't. You can barely see the outline from the HEMI badges but only if you are super close and in the right light. Can't wait for my stuff to get here to completely change the look of it!

I only have 1 1/2" rake right now (got lucky at the factory i guess). The BDS kit I ordered lifts 6" in front and 5" in back so it should be close to level. If I can tell by looking at it that there is still a rake then yes I'll go with bilsteins.

Good news! My BDS kit is on the way and should have it by weeks end. wheels and tires still have not shipped though...boo... but more good new, I got my tow hooks I ordered 2 days ago! that was quick. might install them this week and might wait til I lift my truck and do it at the same time. The Instructions say to torque the tow hook bolts to 70 lbs. Does that seem a little low to anyone but me?

Nice! That's good to hear!

Honestly I don't think I'd worry about torquing the tow hook bolts at all.... that's not the kind of thing that needs to be at a specific torque. I'd just put them on and snug them up really good.

That's what i was thinking but a buddy of mine said that it might be so if someone has to tow me and something breaks then the bolts on the tow hooks would be the first to go and nothing really expensive. I guess that sort of makes since but I don't plan on getting stuck!!! Besides if that ever happens then I'll just leave my truck where it sits and go pick up a new 2500!! lol

The torque on the bolts don't determine how strong they are. If there's enough stress on them they're going to break regardless of how tight they are.

Haha, if you can afford to leave your truck there and pick up a 2500 that sounds like the way to go!!
