Default Prerunner fenders

Has anyone installed the prerunner fenders without actually doing the rest of the ram runner mod. i like the look of it but cant seem to find a picture or anyone that has just installed front fenders without the aftermarket bumper and everything. wondering if this is even possible.

i researched the hell out of the subject and abandoned it..

first off the fenders will match upto a factory bumper (if you go with the kore racing fenders or Mopar) the fiber werks fenders are WAYYYYY off!

secondly the problem is that the Fenders add 3.5" of width to each side so the backsapcing required on your wheels to make the rims and tires look OK will basically snap you hubs clean off (exagerated but you get the point) the Kore tactical lift (which is the kit mopar uses for the ramrunner) places the hubs 2" wider than stock per side so the use of stock wheel dimensions can be used (kind of) so just imagine the required backspacing with stock suspension...

^^^ the second point is what turned me off of the mod right quick.

all in all its do-able and can look awesome but your reliability (front end wise) will suffer...

others may chime in with a different opinion.

thank you for the input, the reason why i was asking is right now with stock tires and a -12mm offset the edge of my tire to the front fender is 1.8" away , and i do not have my new 35" tires yet. so was just a curious thought of if it was possible , im thinking with 35" tirees it will be close to 2.25" for my setup away from fender. might just look at going with bushwacker pocket style flares 2.5"

Check out fiberwerx. It looks sweet but only of you have the longtravel suspension, otherwise its kinda a dumb mod

I'm wanting to do the same thing...get the KORE fenders and bed sides but only do a leveling kit and 35s. I spoke with Kore today and they mentioned the fenders widen the body by 3" on both sides. Is it possible to get a wheel/tire combo wide enough that it looks good and is safe?

Gonna take a shot in the dark here since I am not sure about the subject, however I installed some "ruff riders stampede" fender flares not too long ago and it really was a simple installation. Just needed to use the pre existing fender screws to put them on... Check my mods in signature...
