Default Magnaflow 18"

I finally decided to have an 18" Magnaflow muffler installed on my 2012 RAM Express. It seems like most everyone agrees that it's not too loud, but it's still much better than stock. Tomorrow morning it goes on.
I thought maybe the 14" would be too loud.

Congrats man. I'm like you. I think the 14" would be too loud for my taste.

It's all about taste. I went with a 22 thinking it might not be loud enough but it's perfect for me. I just wanted healthy. My last truck was loud and I got grief from the wife for it (I bought the truck that way). I'm sure 18's sound nice. That was the way I was leaning but I'm glad I got the 22. Enjoy...

I am in the same boat as you. My last truck was obnoxiously loud. I had to convince my wife that the 22'' maggie wasnt going to be too loud. I got in on last week along with a pair of 5'' mbrp tips. Everything from my muffler back got replaced and it so smooth. Sounds awesome.

The 14" sounds great.....and w/o resonators! No drone inside and a perfect sound on the outside....my son drove away the other day while I was in the backyard.....had not heard it from the outside since I had the resonators removed....Im glad I did it...wife doesn't mind it either!

I have a 14" on mine & still can hear the radio when its set on 12. I think anything longer would have been a waste of money for me.

1500-1800rpm on the highway I get drone out of my 18" Magnaflow. Otherwise, its good.
