Went through the same question with my SRT10, the stock setup IS the best CAI for it with a K&N drop in, so I did that and made it look killer!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the k&n cai and honestly its not that loud. sure I can hear it sucking air, but the way people talked I thought it was gonna roar. I would think one could not even hear the s&b cai. overall I like the k&n but if I had to do it over again, tube and drop in is how I would go. I know putting a tube on aint gonna make a difference, but damn the factory one is ugly as sin.

$40
Gets air from the fender well, and is as loud as any cold air intake you'll find

Nice mod.

Just out of curiosity, what are you using the little breather filter for?

I had a cai on my Charger for a couple of years. One day I put the stock set up back on. Honestly the power seemed the same, but the stock intake doesn't give you the roar. I haven't changed the intake on my Ram. Probably will do the K&N drop in.

the tube part number is KIT237T, it is a special order item and has to ship directly from AirAid, this makes it a little extra cost for us to get it to everyone but we can still get it to you at a decent price, we could save everyone $10-$20 if we could organize a 5-6 person group buy

How much does the tube run? I would be interested in buying one. I thought about the legmaker tube, but that thing is almost as much as a full intake.

X2 I love my green performance air filter. Definitely would recommend!
