Question "Over Horsed" My Truck

I just traded a 12,000 horse trailer for a 14,000 pound (GVW)horse trailer. My truck just turned 200K and I am wondering what I might need to do, additional to regular maintenance, to keep my truck running and healthy. I did notice that my truck has started running at 200 degrees rather than the usual (for the last 10 years) 185. Should I be concerned? Thank you. HwN

Injector service, check out the trans, the extra weight could be causing the trans to produce more heat, and in turn heating up the engine. Also, a radiator flush may be in order, even with regular coolant flushes, a radiator can still get gunked up...

Transmission flush, cooling system flush and change your thermostat. All of that should help. Key there is cooling system and transmission flush and not just drain and refill.

Also make sure you are changing your spark plugs every 30,000 miles like your supposed to. That is something that is often overlooked and you start loosing HP if you let them go to long.
