Default Oil Change

Went to the Dealership today for an oil change. I still have some free oil changes so I upgrade to Full Synthetic and pay the difference. I didn't know until today (maybe new option) but I could choose from Pennzoil Full Syn or Royal Purple. Surprised to see the Royal Purple there.

Which did you choose? I'd have gone with Pennzoil, but it is surprising to see Royal Purple there.

The dealership is probably offering it's customers options, maybe they have had requests for either Royal Purple or other synthetics. Options, choices are a good thing.
