Default 04 ram 2500 steering problem i need help!!!

I am in need of help!!

I have a 2004 ram 2500 5.7l hemi .... I recently put new 35x12.5x17 procomp extreme a/t tires. When i was leaving the show that i bought them at i realizied how bad and sloppy my steering was. So first thing i did when i got home was put on new parts.. I installed new steering linkage system from mopar a new heavy duty "t" style setup ( included new tie rod ends, pitman arm, stabilizer), new steering gearbox, and i bought a steering bearbox stabilizer that bolts in the same holes and the swaybar mounts on the frame.. everything is rock solid i also did upper and lower ball joints.. then i took it for a front end alignment.... Now i still have the same steering i had when i left the show. The steering wheel is sloppy and it dosent come back to center i feel like i am constantly chasing the tires with the steering wheel. a fly can land on the steering wheel and it would turn.. There is no resistance on turning. and it dosent center on it own i need help bad!!! the only thing i didnt replace was the steering wheel( which rocks and cracks) when i push and pull on it.and steering column Something is wrong in the column i think i cant get any schmatic on the column. I took the steering wheel off and i got to the bearing right behind the steering wheel.. that seams fine but i can grab the shaft that the wheel mounts to and i can wiggle it back and forth i think my problem is deeper in the column are there more bearings? something is wrong its all over the road... any help PLEASE!!

Wish I could be more help, and what you describe is a common problem. Over size tires can make it much worse.

A couple things come to mind, is the new steering box bad? How good of an alignment did you get? You need to find someone that is familiar with trucks with bigger tires and diagnose your problem.

Your steering column may be messed up, but my gut reaction is that's not making the truck wander.
