Default water leak.. yeah old news but... its different!!

So, with the bucket of rain we have had, and the fact that I had to drain my cab before I got in, My truck went to the dealer. Seems there was a body seam in between the cab and the bed approx 1in. by 3in that had not been welded at factory. So, 3wks later, after being welded, painted, and checked, no more leak. Now, heres the rant.... dealer has new carpet, some new trim panels, and wiring under carpet. Wiring was done at body shop so that leaves just the interior to be put back together, or 1 days worth of work (or less), yet 5 days after parts and truck are together, its still not done. WTF!!! Get my friggin truck done! I know the tech is gonna rush thru it, and its gonna be dirty (mine is literally as clean as new) and Im gonna lose my temper... bad thing is, I work for the same auto group. I have a loaner, but if I wanted an avenger, thats what I would have bought. Not Happy! Rant off.

That sucks. Where exactly is this seam between the cab and bed? Up by the rear glass, or down lower? One side or the other, or in the middle of the truck?

I love vehicles, I think being a dealer would be fun, but the thing is i have RARELY met an honest dealer and would quickly be fired for dealing with scammers.

AHH, I see. Is your truck a QC, CC, or RC?

Gotcha. I have not noticed any leaking in my RC, but good info to know. Thanks for the heads-up!
